Brenda writes: “Today was a paperwork day with a Zoom meeting in the afternoon. Sadly the only time I was outside was when I checked the moth trap, which I had forgotten to do yesterday, so some of the moths may have been there from then! And after a cloudy windless night there were eight moths, two each of December and feathered thorn, and one each of Blair’s shoulder-knot, merveille du jour, red-green carpet and turnip. Later in the day I let a light brown apple out through the kitchen window. No doubt it will be in the moth trap tomorrow!”
