Seeds and windfalls

Brenda writes: “As we looked out of the kitchen window this morning the corner of the garden where our creeping thistles grow was alive with blue tits and goldfinches enjoying the seeds.

The creeping thistle has completely gone to seed


We’re also sharing our apples and pears with our feathered friends. The remaining coxes orange pippins are ripe and sweet and the windfall pears provide a succulent feast.”
