Mottled camouflage

Brenda writes: “Just one new flower today, lesser trefoil, which I saw in a verge in Wells. It’s not dissimilar to spotted medick, but has much smaller leaves without a spot. There were no new moths – in fact there were only two in total! However one of these was a waved umber which I managed to get a photo of (you’ll remember that Steve failed to get a photo previously when he accidentally let the moth fly out of the house!). Isn’t the camouflage amazing?”
