Brenda writes: “A milder night meant more moths again, 48 dark arches and two light arches, and we had a lovely buff arches, new for this year.

It was nice to see several silver y and two more swallow-tailed. The other new moth today was lesser broad-bordered yellow underwing. About half the size of the large yellow underwing its hind wing is dark but it has a pale line along its head which is very smart.

We were close to home today as our final concert was in Warham so there were no new flowers today.”
