Today we completed our journey to Waulkmill, where we had been when we started this blog on January 1st. It seems fitting to end up back in Scotland and I have to say that I’m excited that in 2025 we’ll be up here more permanently (though keeping a base in East Anglia too) and will be able to explore more of the superb habitats of the highlands and islands.
We spent most of the short daylight hours driving and for me the highlight was the sunset and some amazing cloud formations near Aberdeen as we approached the end of our journey.
